Walter E. Long Lake is located in Travis County, just east of the City of Austin and covers about 1,210 acres. This lake is also known as Decker Lake. The lake is contained within the 3800 acre Walter E. Long park. The park is day use only - no camping or RV facilities.

Common fish species include largemouth bass, hybrid striped bass, catfish, and sunfish.
