Located on the just east  of Denton, Lewisville Lake   covers about 29,590 acres and is fed by the Clear, Hickory and Elm creeks and several smaller area creeks.

Fish species of interest to sport fisherman include: largemouth bass, white bass, white crappie, hybrid and striped bass, blue catfish, and channel catfish.
