Champion Creek Reservoir is located due south of
Colorado City Texas on SH 208. It covers about 1560 acres. Champion Creek
Reservoir is a good alternative to Colorado City Lake which is still recovering from a
significant fish kill due to golden algae. Fish for largemouth bass, white bass, white crappie, channel and flathead catfish, and sunfish. White bass fishing is described as excellent. |
