Located within Huntsville State Park about 15 miles south of Huntsville, TX, on Park Road 40 near New Waverly, Lake Raven is fed by area creeks and covers about 210 acres.  Lake Raven is located entirely within the boundaries of Huntsville State Park.

Common fish species include largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill, and redear sunfish.
