Kurth Reservoir is located about 6 miles north of Lufkin, TX, off Highway 59 and covers about 560 acres. Lake Kurth is just west of the Sam Rayburn Reservoir where numerous camping and guide services may be found. Common fish species include hybrid striped bass, largemouth bass, spotted bass, crappie, and catfish. |
