 | Located about 13 miles east of Woodville, TX, Lake B.A, Steinhagen is fed by the Angelina and Neches Rivers and numerous creeks. Common fish species include: largemouth bass, spotted bass, crappie, and catfish. Texas Fishing License and Regulations Water related activities are now available at Martin Dies, Jr. State Park! The swim area, boat ramp and fishing pier at Hen House Ridge Camping Unit are open. The B.A. Steinhagen Lake level is back to normal. Boaters should use caution and be aware of shallow water areas, hidden stumps, and floating debris created by the rising water conditions. All other camping units, boat ramps, and fishing piers remain closed due to reconstruction and repairs. Contact the park for more information. 409/384-5231 |
