 | Located about three miles south of Kemp, between Kaufman and Athens, Cedar Creek Lake covers about 34,300 acres and is fed by the Cedar and other area creeks. Fish species of interest to sport fisherman include: largemouth, hybrid striped, hybrid yellow, striped and white bass; smallmouth buffalo, black and white crappie; blue, channel, and flathead catfish.
