Located about 12 miles west of Borger and north of Amarillo in the Texas Panhandle, Lake Meredith is approximately 16,505 acres and is fed by the Canadian River and the Big Blue, Palo Duro and Rita Blanca Creeks as well as numerous small creeks. Fish species of interest to sport fisherman include: largemouth, and smallmouth bass; blue gill, walleye, black and white crappie; blue, channel and flathead catfish; yellow perch; rainbow trout, and green sunfish. |
